Python pathlib files: specify encoding and close the resource owner

Operation contract

The fixture creates a temporary directory, writes a UTF-8 receipt marker, then reads it back under the same encoding. The temporary-directory owner removes its files after the block. The test displays the content and a fixed relative filename, avoiding an unstable machine-specific path in the expected output.

Failure and ownership boundary

A path joined beneath a directory can still require validation if a caller supplies absolute paths, parent components or symlinks. This fixture accepts no caller path and claims no race-safe extraction sandbox. Python context managers: clean up on success and failure and Python strings and bytes: reject decoding errors before parsing records supply different parts of the file contract.

Costs and limits

Read/write work grows with file bytes. Reading the entire file retains its text; large imports need bounded streaming and an explicit publication/crash-recovery policy.
