A LinkedList check should test empty results, overload selection, and the cost of access patterns.
Check your LinkedList understanding
Before answering
Read the method name and argument type. Then identify whether the operation locates a node, edits links, or returns an empty-case sentinel. The related quiz provides six questions and explanations; it runs in this browser without a code judge.

Common Mistakes
Do not confuse poll with remove or element. Do not infer thread safety from an exception that might be thrown.
Trace state and cost as different answers
A correct final list does not automatically supply a correct complexity answer. Separate finding a position, changing adjacent links and rendering a report. A method that accepts an index can spend time locating it before doing a small link update.
For overload questions, write the argument’s declared type before inspecting the list values. For empty-case questions, read whether the method returns a sentinel or throws. For copy questions, draw the element references shared by the two membership structures.
After a wrong answer, run a minimal checked trace and explain why the other branch would require a different method or precondition. The quiz results remain in this browser; the page does not claim a server-issued qualification or a remotely judged code submission.
